Cabaret and or Dancing Risk of Injury and Assumption of Responsibility Policy
Purpose: This policy is established to ensure all cabaret dancers and dancers are aware of and understand the inherent risks of injury associated with their performances, lessons, competitions, shows, practices, social dancing, and more, and their automatic assumption of responsibility for those risks.
Scope: This policy applies to all dancers participating in cabaret or dance of any kind, under the organization and or with Alyenendrov or any other instructor in or associated with the studio, including but not limited to rehearsals, live shows, practice, competition, lessons, and any other dance or cabaret related activities.
1. Acknowledgment of Inherent Risk:
Cabaret dancing and dancing of any kind is a physically demanding activity that comes with inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, bruises, muscle tears, fractures, or other physical hardship or injury. By participating in dance of any kind, as well as cabaret, dancers acknowledge and accept these risks.
2. Automatic Assumption of Responsibility:
By participating in any dance or cabaret lesson, practice, competition, rehearsal, performance, showcase, social dance, or related activity, dancers automatically assume full responsibility for any injury or harm they may experience as a result of these activities. This assumption of responsibility applies regardless of the nature or extent of the injury, up to and including death, and regardless of whether or not the dancer has read this policy.
3. No Liability Assumed by Organization:
Phoenix Rising, Latin and Ballroom, LLC and Alyenendrov Tsorokean will not be held liable for any injuries sustained during dance or cabaret-related activities. Dancers agree, by participating, to release the organization, any associated instructor, and or Alyenendrov from any claims of liability for injury or damages.
4. Fitness and Health Responsibility:
Dancers are personally responsible for maintaining the physical fitness necessary to safely perform their roles. This includes warming up properly, knowing their own physical limits, and taking necessary precautions to avoid injury. Dancers are required to maintain their own shoulder strength, necessary to keep their shoulders down for their safety, and the safety of others. Dancers should inform the organization of any pre-existing conditions that might affect their safety.
5. Waiver Requirement:
Before participating in any lesson, practice, performance, showcases, competitions, or rehearsals, dancers are assumed to have read this form. This form acknowledges their understanding of the risks associated with cabaret and or dancing and releases the organization and Alyenendrov from any liability. The automatic assumption of responsibility exists regardless of whether or not the waiver is signed.
6. Informed Decision:
By engaging in cabaret and or dancing, dancers agree that they have been adequately informed of the risks involved and have made a personal decision to participate, assuming full responsibility for any consequences. This waver is enforced whether or not the dancer has read this policy.
The automatic assumption of informed decision exists regardless of whether or not the waiver is signed.
7. Insurance Coverage:
Dancers are encouraged to carry personal health or injury insurance to cover any injuries sustained during cabaret and or dance related activities, as the organization and Alyenendrov will not provide health or injury coverage.
8. Reporting Injuries:
Any injuries sustained during rehearsals or performances must be reported to management immediately. While first aid assistance will be provided, dancers are responsible for seeking appropriate medical care if necessary. By participating, dancers are automatically assumed to know the inherent risks of dance or cabaret. This assumption of responsibility applies regardless of the nature or extent of the injury or death, and whether or not the dancer has read this policy.
The automatic assumption of responsibility exists regardless of whether or not the waiver is signed.
9. Unsafe Practices and Disqualification:
Any dancer found to be engaging in unsafe or reckless behavior that endangers themselves or others may be disqualified from further participation in lessons, practice, competition, showcase, performances, or any dance related activity at the discretion of the management.
10. Amendments:
This policy may be revised at any time by the organization to reflect changing safety standards or operational needs and participation in subsequent performances will imply acceptance of any updates.
11. Assumption of Policy Regardless of Reading:
Failure to read this policy does not exempt any dancer from its terms. By participating in rehearsals, performances, lessons, practice, competitions, showcases, social dancing, or any related activities, dancers automatically accept and assume all responsibilities and liabilities outlined in this policy, regardless of whether they have reviewed the document.

Package Policy
Cancellation Policy for Ballroom Dancing and Cabaret Package Lessons
Package Termination
We understand that circumstances can change, and cancellations of ballroom dancing package lessons, though rare, do occur. Please be aware of the following policy regarding the termination of a package:
Package Pricing Adjustment: When you purchase a package of lessons, you benefit from a discounted rate due to the bulk purchase. If you choose to cancel your package before completing it, all lessons already taken will be recalculated at the current standard rate for individual lessons, rather than the discounted package rate. This adjustment reflects the change in your pricing structure due to the package termination.
Refund for Remaining Lessons: Any remaining lessons in your package will be refunded at the original package cost, provided they have not been utilized.
Failure to read this policy does not exempt any dancer from its terms.
The automatic assumption of knowledge exists regardless of whether or not a waiver is signed.
24 Hour cancellation policy
24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Please note that we enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel a scheduled lesson less than 24 hours before its start time, you will be charged at the applicable rate.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please contact us directly.
